Our industry is trying to go “greener”. You can’t get much “greener” than Crystal Green, readily available, sustainable and renewable. Phosphorous is highly energy dependent and mined phosphorous uses an enormous amount of energy and acids to convert rock phosphate to usable phosphorous.
The Crystal Green prill is a very hard crystalline material suitable for either top dressing or incorporation. Besides the leachate studies conducted at VA Tech (Dr Tom Banko), incorporation trials were also conducted on unrooted nursery stock. Results demonstrated Crystal Green is a very safe slow-releasing fertilizer.
